Snipers Guide - Understanding the Map

Understanding the Map

Image showing the full map.

The map is roughly split into three lanes: left, mid and right.

You'll find that most of the fighting happens in the left and middle lanes. The right lane is usually used if someone wants to be sneaky, or as a safe way to return flags.

The bottom right and the top right of the map are the cliffs. These are high-elevation locations that you can enter from below. Just walk into the corner of the map (top right or bottom right) to teleport up to the cliff, and move to the other end to teleport back down. On the cliff you're safe from the people below, but it's not a very good lookout point since it's at the edge. It's best used as a getaway location after grabbing the enemy flag. Most importantly the act of teleporting up to the cliff will break the enemy's nooblock (they'll just stop dead), giving you a chance to escape. Be careful though - if the enemy predicts your move, it's easy for them for wait for you to teleport down!
